Services >> Cabling and Infrastructure Solutions
You need clean implementation/cable management.
This is critical as this is the backbone of your physical network, and key to performance and stability.
This best practice may seem like a waste of time when first implementing a network, but disorganized cabling and poor implementation can increase the probability and hinder the timely resolution of network disasters.
Taking some simple steps can save you time, grief, and money, such as:
- Labeling Cables
- Tying Cables Down
- Using Simple Network Designs
- Keeping Up-to-Date Network Diagrams

CCS evaluates customer needs and matches them with industry leading structured cabling system providers, such as Panduit, AMP, Ortronics, Siemon, Hubbell and Sumitomo (Blown Fiber requirements). CCS is a certified design and installation specialist for all of these industry leading structured cable distribution and management systems.
CCS cabling and infrastructure methodology components include:
- System Design Provisioning
We work with the customer networking team to evaluate specifics goals and objectives for the infrastructure network in order to define the target deployment areas.
- Create Initial System Configuration
For voice, video and data infrastructure systems, the design also incorporates customer applications; we draw upon a number of existing infrastructure and communication site requirements to develop a layer 1 database and use of any "friendly" customer sites to create an initial system design.
- Last Mile and Extension Applications
Calculation of length budgets for the preferred equipment media configurations to determine initial MDF/IDF sizing and/or link ranges for deployed electronic systems.
- Preliminary System Design
Establishment of a network topology to meet the target design objectives. This takes into consideration equipment type, number of terminations, media types, capacity analysis, and coverage analysis. Candidate sites/locations for equipment are selected based on coverage or link range objectives, capacity requirements, and availability of existing equipment/sources for access to corporate backbone and telecommunication resources. We will then produce a preliminary system design.
